Deadline to Review and Evaluate Water Proposals Extended!

You can still review and evaluate all the proposals that were submitted to the Water Supply Convention through the Civinomics online water supply workshop page. The deadline has been extended to November 11. Community feedback is important to this process! 2014 Drought -- SC Steps Up!

While the rest of California has increased their water use by an average of 1 percent, Santa Cruz proves that doesn’t need to be the case. In the month of June the rationing goal for water use was 8.7 million gallons of water per day (8.7 mgd). Not only did we reach that goal but we surpassed it by 400,000 gallons per day! The average daily use for June 2014 was 8.3 mgd.
