Highlights of this meeting included a presentation by Rosemary Menard about water supply and demand in the serviced area including current sources, production from each of those sources over several years, current demand, customer charateristics, and future demand projections under different San Lorenzo river flow regimes. These estimates were broad and will be modified over the next few months. At these meetings three subcommittees were formed-the Independent Review Panel (IRP) subcommittee to review applicants for the IRP, the Recon Outreach committee and the newly renamed Strategies and Ideas Convention subcommittee that will create a forum for the submission from “any and all” of ideas and strategies to address our water supply issues. Guided discussions also included ideas on decision making processes, how to select scenarios and multi criteria decision support software.
