City of Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz Water Commission is working on updating the Master Conservation Plan for Santa Cruz. Potential measures include rebates for high efficiency clothes washers, toilets and dishwashers; incentives for irrigation and landscape upgrades, rain sensors and graywater installations; and offering more in depth water audits and recommendations especially for top water users.

There are many options being considered with programs that address operational issues, rebates for customers, regulation changes and technical advice strategies that help to increase water conservation in our community. Voice your opinion on these measures at upcoming Water Commission meetings or in writing.
