The City’s sources of surface water include the San Lorenzo River, coastal streams (Laguna Creek, Reggiardo Creek, Liddell Spring and Majors Creek) and Loch Lomond Reservoir. The City obtains its groundwater from its Live Oak (Beltz) Wells.

Service Area: The City’s Water Department service area includes the City itself, portions of unincorporated Santa Cruz County and a small portion of the City of Capitola.
